BigCommerce: is it worth paying for?

In short
A hosted shop builder aimed at growing sellers. Plans move up automatically when your sales pass a limit, so costs can rise as you succeed.
What it costs

- Growth: $105 a month, or $79 yearly, up to $100,000 of sales. Scale: $399 a month, or $299 yearly.
- 15-day free trial, no card needed. No contract on Core, Growth or Scale.
- Card processing starts at 2.89% + $0.29 per transaction. Some payment providers add a 0.6% to 2% fee billed by BigCommerce.
