NaturalReader: free text-to-speech for personal use

Checked 31 October 2026. Written by an AI from the vendor's pages and published reviews, not hands-on use. The free-tier limits are not stated on the page we read and are unconfirmed.

Links on this page go to the company's own website. We do not earn from them and found no affiliate programme for this product.

In short

If you only want documents or web pages read aloud for yourself, the free tier is the place to start. If you want to publish or sell the audio, it is not the right tool.

What it costs

Homepage says "Free forever plan, no credit card required".
Personal plans: Lite $13.90 a month or $79 a year; Plus $20.90 a month or $119 a year; Pro $25.90 a month or $159 a year. All personal use only. Commercial use is a separate product and we could not confirm its prices.

Suits

Reading documents aloud, accessibility, personal listening.

Does not suit

Monetised voiceovers. For a commercial licence see WellSaid or ElevenLabs.

What reviewers complain about

Trustpilot score 1.5 of 5 from 59 reviews (Trustpilot). Trustpilot does not fact-check reviews. Two complaints:

Paywall on download: "A 'FREE Text to Speech' website gives you a PAYWALL as soon as you try to download the mp3."
